World poetry day today
So I thought I’d take the time
Whilst on this train to London
To write a little rhyme
And whilst I really should be writing
My speech for the show at 3
The choo choo’s rhythm so conducive
To writing poetry
But what should be my subject
On this auspicious day
Emerged in thought and rushing
My fare I didn’t pay
And here comes the conductor
Oh it looks like I’ve been caught
My inspiration’s disappeared
I’ve lost my train of thought
