Free thinking and imaginative with a dislike of labels, Gary is one of life's philosophers. He has an interest in people and the world around him but doesn't take himself, or very much for that matter too seriously. Many of Gary's poems reflect his bemusement of a world order that he feels could so easily be altered for the benefit of all. If a poem is a comment on life, moreover an observation that invites a little more scrutiny or consideration, then I'm sure Gary would be happy to be labelled a poet.
